Back to it!

We've had a fantastic summer of dance camps, but now I'm glad to be back into the routine of term-time classes.
I've loved welcoming all our dancers back into the studio this past week, hearing about their holidays and seeing them happy to be back dancing. They're as enthusiastic as ever; many have asked when our next show is and if we can start practising now!
As always happens after the summer, there have been various changes within classes with children moving up age groups and joining additional classes. It can be quite nerve-wracking coming back after the long summer, seeing lots of new faces and having to get back into routine. I've been so proud of how well all our dancers have settled back in so far and I'm excited to see the progress over the coming weeks.
We've welcomed lots of new friends too! Our community is continuing to grow, and it's lovely to see our classes blossoming. Several classes are now full, and we have the highest number of students we've ever had!
The start of term means it's busy behind the scenes too: weekly class planning, longer-term planning for the months ahead, the emails and admin that always comes with a new term, getting our dancers equipped with ballets shoes and t-shirts, and much more! But I wouldn't have it any other way, and for me there's something quite satisfying about steadily working my way through a very long to-do list and getting organised.
A particular highlight has been starting our brand new P6-S2 Dance Mix class. For me there's always a feeling of uncertainty when starting a new class, but I'm delighted with how it's going so far and excited to continue.
New term - I think it's going to be a great one!
