Scottish Dance Awards 2026 Finalist!

We're barely halfway through the first month of 2026 and already I have brilliant news to share!

Last year, RMB Dance was a finalist in the Scottish Dance Awards, for the 'Best Dance School for Community Engagement' award. A few days ago I found out that not only have we been shortlisted again, but this time for THREE awards! This year we're shortlisted for the following:

* Excellence in Inclusive Dance Practice

* Health and Wellbeing Award

* Best Dance School for Community Engagement

I'm honoured and extremely proud to be recognised in these three categories, which recognise everything that is our ethos. We're an extremely diverse community, and I pride myself on providing accessible classes where everyone is welcome. We emphasise enjoying dancing together in an environment that is accepting of people from all backgrounds and of all abilities.

As a community we enjoy being together, sharing our dancing with others and using our dancing to do good for our community. We are proudly based in the heart of Edinburgh and we love being able to make an impact in our city in a positive way.

The awards ceremony takes place in May, so I'm looking forward to attending in Glasgow and celebrating with people from across the country!
