Exciting News!
We've had a super start to our final term of the year... I can hardly believe it's almost November! Things aren't slowing down though, quite the opposite in fact!
Coming up this term, we have: community events, care home performances, drawing competition, winter camps and parties, and we'll also be starting preparations for our show next year. There are also lots of achievements and student successes to share... some of which are top-secret for now, but I can share one today!
This week, I received the news that I've been selected as one of four finalists for 'The Development Award' in this year's Creative Edinburgh Awards. These awards celebrate all creative industries, not only dance, so I'm extremely proud to be representing the dance sector for our city.
RMB Dance is what it is because of the children and families who make up our community, all of whom have played a part in the development into what we are today. I'm thankful to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way, and trusted in what I'm striving to achieve with RMB Dance. I'll be heading to the Awards Ceremony ina couple of weeks' time, where I look forward to celebrating creativity with fantastic organisations, projects and individuals.
