Summer Fun 2023!

Our summer programme has come to an end and what an absolutely brilliant time it's been! This year I offered our biggest programme yet, with three weeks of Junior Camp, plus a Pre-school Camp and Junior Dance Intensive.

I was pleased to welcome several of our regular students, as well as many children who regularly attend during holidays. We also enjoyed welcoming lots of new friends who were trying a dance club for the first time.

The fact that for me it didn't feel like work tells you what a fun time we had! Every child who came this summer really seemed to grasp what RMB Dance is all about: the children were so kind to each, threw themselves into all the activities and had a genuine passion for dance and movement. This made our time in the studio so worthwhile as we enjoyed each other's company and shared a love of dance together.

When planning our holiday camps, I intend them to be much more than childcare; they're an opportunity to develop valuable skills. Camps hold the same values as our classes: developing skills in an inclusive environment which holds a love of dance at it's core. I'd like to think that every child who attended this summer tried and learned something new. Likewise, our camps are also an opportunity for me to try new ideas that I can transfer to our classes!

An example of this is Acro Dance. Trying this style at our camps and it proving extremely popular is what led me to decide to launch it as regular class. I'm super-excited to start this in the new term and believe it's going to be a great addition to our schedule, providing children the chance to develop impressive physical skills as well as teamwork, perseverance and focus.

You can book into this class, and the rest of our classes here:

Thank you to everyone who came and danced this summer! I'm now excited for the term ahead and to keep enjoying dancing and developing!
